Combining open discussion and workshops, the Thought Leadership Forum brings together practitioners and academics with diverse experiences to share their knowledge and collaborate to build open source tools. Delegates pitch their ideas in a flexible program addressing gaps within their organisation or use their expertise to assist others. Everything developed by the GAPPS is open sourced and available free to the wider project community.
The two days of the Forum, 21 and 22 June 2019, are followed by dinners strengthening relationships with delegates in a friendly atmosphere whilst enjoying great food and wine within Lancaster.

The Global Alliance for the Project ProfessionS (GAPPS) is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organisation that has been working with practitioners throughout the world since 2003 to develop global competency frameworks for project managers, program/programme managers, project sponsors and project controls and provide a basis for comparison of project related standards. The GAPPS is working with the International Centre for Complex Project Management to review their standards for project managers. Join the GAPPS team at the University of Cumbria in Lancaster to contribute to this review, share your own experience and discuss leadership in complexity, projects and programmes in a rapidly changing world.
Participants are advised to meet at the University Reception area on the first day.
