We were born in 2007 – so we're celebrating 10 years as a university.
This milestone is the perfect time to reflect on our outstanding achievements and celebrate the success of our students, staff, alumni and partners.
And, it’s also a fitting year to take time to look into the future – what we will achieve and how we will continue growing as a specialist institution, a place providing world-class education.

We are a significant institution for Cumbria and North Lancashire - our courses provide a high level of student satisfaction, enhanced through workplace partnerships. Through continuous investment in our teaching environments, we aim to provide an outstanding learning experience to equip our graduates with the skills, attributes, confidence and resilience to succeed on graduation and beyond. In 2017, 9/10 of our graduates are in employment, and we hope to expand on this in future.

TeamTen is a grassroots initiative inspired by staff and students, coming together to train and participate in sporting events as a team.
Over the last decade, the university has built a national reputation in a number of key areas. With a new vice chancellor now in place, there is a strong appetite to strengthen this further, so the next decade is likely to be a very exciting one too.
