“What can we learn from Cumbrian Common Land for the Future Delivery of Public Benefits”
Professor Julia Aglionby is our newly appointed Professor in Practice at the Centre for National Parks and Protected Areas (CNPPA). In this public lecture she will be drawing from her experience as a negotiator, researcher and policy developer to explore what we can learn from 1000 years of governance of commons in Cumbria to inform the development of future policies for enhancing public benefits in protected areas. The lecture will address how we can nurture a radical centre between increasingly polarised views on land management.
This is the first lecture in a series presented by the CNPPA.
Lecture starts at 18:00 followed by light refreshments.
