Cardiac Health: from past to future. Be excited! The future is ours for the making but it does not wait for us.
About the Seminar
This lecture will present a short history of cardiac surgery and the current state of the speciality. It will use cardiac surgery as a vehicle to project how the future of surgery is to be landscaped by developments in technology, knowledge acquisition and information handling.
The aim of the lecture will be to inspire the audience and make them think about the different ways in which we will need to educate new generations of surgeons in order to embrace future approaches to health care with excitement and vigor.
